On February 28th, the 2019 Shandong 5G Industry Summit with the theme of “5 Limit Imagination, G-induced Momentum” was held in Jinan, Shandong Province. At the summit, Shandong Unicom demonstrated important achievements in 5G mobile phones, VR/AR, drones and unmanned driving, and set up several 5G scene display platforms on the sidelines for the guest experience. Shandong Unicom also demonstrated the unmanned driving based on 5G environment. Under the protection of 5G broadband, the massive data of the car (603138) realized real-time propagation, the delay was reduced to milliseconds, and the AR/VR was also displayed at the summit. At the meeting, a number of participating leaders jointly launched the “China Unicom CLOUD VR Convergence Platform Launch and China Unicom 5G VR Base Unveiling” ceremony, and established the Shandong 5G Joint Lab. Shandong Unicom signed contracts with 5G industry partners such as Huawei, ZTE and Ali. Established the country's first 5G ecological development alliance.
