On October 28, the award ceremony for the Fifth Shandong Cross-Border E-Commerce Competition was grandly held at Shandong Foreign Trade Vocational College. Attendees included Xia Bingjun, Deputy Inspector of the Shandong Provincial Department of Commerce; Liu Min, President of Shandong Foreign Trade Vocational College; and Zhang Penggang, Director of the Cross-Border E-Commerce Department. Guanchenghui, Party Secretary of China Coal Group, and Li Xiao, Manager of China Coal Intelligent Research Institute, participated in the finals with six systems—’AI Unmanned Promotion,’ ‘AI Unmanned Optimization,’ ‘AI Unmanned Outbound Calling,’ ‘AI Unmanned Matrix Publishing,’ ‘AI Unmanned Recruitment,’ and ‘AI Unmanned Finance’—and won the third prize.
The 5th Shandong Cross-Border E-Commerce Competition was jointly organized by the Shandong Provincial Department of Commerce, the Shandong Provincial Department of Education, and the Shandong Provincial Federation of Trade Unions. It was hosted by Shandong Foreign Trade Vocational College, the Shandong Provincial Foreign Economic and Trade Trade Union Committee, the Shandong Cross-Border E-Commerce Industry-Education Alliance, and Shandong University of Foreign Languages and Technology. After rigorous selection and intense competition through preliminary, semi-final, and final rounds, China Coal Group's ‘AI Unmanned Sales System’ earned high recognition from the judging panel for its outstanding integration of artificial intelligence technology with cross-border e-commerce.
China Coal Group's six systems—AI-powered unmanned promotion, AI-powered unmanned optimization, AI-powered unmanned outbound calling, AI-powered unmanned matrix publishing, AI-powered unmanned recruitment, and AI-powered unmanned finance—represent innovative achievements independently developed by the Group's Intelligent Research Institute. These six systems deeply integrate artificial intelligence technology with cross-border e-commerce application scenarios. Through functional modules such as automated publishing, intelligent responses, digital human outbound calling, precision marketing, and automated order processing, they enable 24/7 uninterrupted cross-border sales services. This effectively enhances market expansion, operational efficiency, and performance improvement for cross-border e-commerce businesses. At the finals, the project team fully demonstrated the systems' technological advancement and commercial application value through an impressive roadshow presentation and a composed Q&A session.
This award not only fully recognizes China Coal Group's innovative capabilities in artificial intelligence applications but also represents a significant achievement in the Group's response to the Shandong Province Cross-Border E-Commerce Leapfrog Development Action Plan (2023-2025) and its accelerated digital transformation.
