On December 9, a delegation from Jining University, including Li Fanlu, Member of the University Party Committee and Vice President; Lu Bo, Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Foreign Languages; Wang Chaojie, Dean of the School of Foreign Languages; Zhang Ying, Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Elementary Education; Li Xiaolu, Director of the Business English Department of the School of Foreign Languages; and Liu Xiaohui, Director of the Office of the School of Foreign Languages, visited China Coal Group for an exchange visit and held discussions on deepening university-enterprise cooperation. Accompanied by Chairman Qu, President Li and his delegation conducted an on-site tour of key facilities that embody the Group's strategic layout and innovation achievements, including the China Coal Group Corporate Culture Exhibition Hall, AI Intelligence Center, Cross-Border E-Commerce Company, E-Commerce Company, Operations Company, and Technology Company. At the AI Intelligence Center, the visiting leaders focused on learning about a series of innovative achievements independently developed by the China Coal Group Intelligent Research Institute. These included intelligent systems such as “AI Unmanned Promotion,” “AI Unmanned Optimization,” “AI Unmanned Outbound Calling,” “AI Unmanned Matrix Publishing,” “AI Unmanned Recruitment,” and “AI Unmanned Finance.” These achievements fully demonstrated the Group's in-depth layout and solid capabilities in the fields of digital transformation and artificial intelligence application. Through the on-site visit, the visiting leaders highly commended China Coal Group's strategic planning, technological accumulation, and innovative practices in high-end equipment manufacturing, industrial internet, cross-border e-commerce, and other fields.
At the symposium, Chairman Qu delivered the opening remarks. He specifically highlighted the Group's commitment to replacing manual labor with robotic technology in high-risk scenarios such as mine safety and fire emergency response to safeguard lives, underscoring the urgent need for multidisciplinary talent in this field.
President Li outlined extensive talent needs across cross-border e-commerce, international business, smart manufacturing, software/hardware development, unmanned systems, and intelligent control. He expressed expectations for deep collaboration with the college in targeted training programs, internship placements, and joint project research.
