On the morning of July 30th, founding conference and the first congress of Translators Association of Jining City was held in the Hong Kong Mansion,deputy director of Jining People's Congress Standing Committee Yin yunling,the vice chairman of Jining Municipal Political Consultative Conference Guo Hongmin,director of Jining Aliens Office Liu Jian,deputy director of Civil Affairs Bureau Yan Yong,vice president of Jining University Zhu Songtao,director of Foreign Language Department of Jining University Yang Nan,professor of Qufu Normal University Qin Hongwu and other leaders attended the founding conference.The meeting was chaired by Jining Foreign Affairs Office Deputy Director Ruan LinJing,the city's more than 150 member organizations and individuals participated in the first congress .As the honorary president unit of Jining Translators Association,Shandong China Coal Group was invited to attend.The Group's Chairman and General Manager Qu Qing,Executive Vice General Manager Han Yong,Deputy General Manager Fan Peigong,Vice general managers of cross-border e-commerce company Jiang Chaoxiang,Tian Cong as the Group's representatives attended the meeting.
At first,deputy director of Civil Affairs Bureau Yan Yong read the approval document of the establishment of Translators Association of Jining City,the delegates considered and passed the constitution of the association and elected the president, vice president, secretary general, deputy secretary general, executive director, director, supervisor of the Translators Association. The association also specially appointed Jining Municipal Political Consultative Conference Vice Chairman Guo Hongmin, Shandong China Coal Group Chairman Qu Qing as the honorary president of the Translators Association of Jining City, and awarded honorary certificates.
Translators Association of Jining City established under the guidance of Jining Foreign Affairs Office, approved by Jining City Civil Affairs Bureau. Its a local voluntary, industry, non-profit social organization with legal personality that voluntarily formed by the enterprises and institutions, social organizations and individuals that engaged in translation and translation work. Association was sponsored by Shandong China Coal Group which is the honorary president unit, designed to assist the Government to strengthen the city's translation industry code of conduct, unite the majority of foreign languages workers to carry out the work of translation studies, academic exchanges, foreign language translation, teaching training and other activities, to promote the development of the city's translation business and foreign exchange business and serve for local economic construction and social development. At present the association has absorbed more than 150 members.
During the meeting, honorary president of Translators Association, Municipal Political Consultative Conference Vice Chairman Guo Hongmin pointed out that, translation work is a bridge for foreign exchange , especially in commercial exchanges, along with the increase of the city's import and export trade and the country 'One Belt And One Road' strategy implementation, companies need a lot of foreign language professionals, the establishment of Association not only to provide data translation, simultaneous translation services for the foreign trade enterprises , but also to build a platform for translation talents to exchange study, jointly improve. President Qin Hongwu said that ,we will live up to the purpose of the trust and expectations of our members, bearing in mind the association mission, unite and lead the members to work together to build the Translators Association of Jining City become an important platform for the exchange of work, external liaison, and service to the government and society.
