Cantilever roadheader is greatly affected by the utilization ratio of the boring machine, and the utilization ratio is about 60% under the optimum condition. But if the rock needs supporting or other auxiliary work can not keep up, its utilization rate is lower.
3. Same advantages as full-face TBM: continuous excavation, no blasting vibration, more freedom to determine the right time to support the rock; can reduce over-excavation; can save the cost of rock support and lining.
