Introduction of Coal Shear Cutting Section
Coal shearer cut section consists of fixed gear box, rocker arm, roller, coal block and height adjustment system. The function of the cutting part is to decelerate the power of the electric motor and transfer it to the cutting roller to cut the coal, and the coal is loaded on the working surface conveyor through the spiral vane on the roller. In order to improve the coal loading effect of the screw roller, a coal stop plate is installed behind the drum.
The characters of Coal Shear Cutting Section
1) The cutting part adopts mechanical transmission. Fixed gearbox is the main part of the cutting part. The speed of the shearer motor is generally about 1470r/min, and the rotation speed of the drum is generally 50r/min-100r/min according to different diameters. In order to achieve the purpose of deceleration, the reduction section of the cutting section is generally composed of three-level to five-level reduction gears. Since the axis of the drum is perpendicular to the axis of the motor, a pair of circular gears are used in the reduction section of the cutting section.
(2) The cutting speed of the drum (peripheral tangential speed of the pick tip) is generally 4m/s-5m/s. Therefore, when using rollers with different diameters, the rotational speed of the drum should be changed accordingly, so the speed is reduced at the cutting section. There is usually a pair of replaceable quick gears in the box. By changing the number of gear teeth, you can change the drum speed.
(3) There is a clutch in the transmission between the motor and the drum. When the shearer is moved or overhauled, or when the traction part is tested, the clutch must be opened to stop the rotation of the drum. In addition, for safety of personnel, when the shearer stops working, it is also necessary to disconnect the drum from the electric motor.
(4) In order to make the shearer automatically open the notch, the cutting drum generally extends beyond the length of the fuselage (or the bottom bracket) by a certain distance, and the multi-row shearer adopts the form of a rocker arm.
(5) In order to adapt to the thickness of the coal seam and the fluctuation of the coal seam, the height of the cutting drum is adjusted. Most shearers use rocker arm height adjustments, and a few use the bottom bracket to increase height. Shaker height adjustment and bottom bracket height adjustment are all hydraulically driven.
(6) During the working process of the shearer, the coal blocking plate does not have the back of the roller. Therefore, when the shearer changes the pulling direction, the coal blocking plate needs to be switched from one side of the roller to the other. The coal flap inverting device can be driven by a hydraulic cylinder or a hydraulic motor, and some also do not use a special drive device, and use the drum to rotate the coal blocking plate.
(7) In order to achieve the height adjustment of the cutting section and the turning of the coal block, the shearer has a separate auxiliary hydraulic system. Some of the auxiliary hydraulic pumps are installed in the cut-out section of the reduction gear box, some of them are installed in separate auxiliary hydraulic tanks, and some are installed in the traction part.
