In order to further improve the work of preventive consular protection, On the morning of November 25th, the ceremony of Shandong preventive consular protection propaganda activities,which was hosted by the Foreign Affairs Office of Shandong Province and sponsored by the Overseas Chinese and Foreign Affairs Office of Jining Municipal People's Government, was held in Hong Kong Hotel in Jining. Zhai Leiming,the director of Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Consular Protection Center,Li Yongchun the director of Foreign Affairs Office of Shandong Province,Wu jiwen, the deputy mayor of Jining City and other leaders attended the ceremony.As the province's key foreign investment enterprises, Shandong China Coal Group was invited to attend, Fan Peigong, the vice general manager of China Coal Group,and Jiang Chaoxiang ,deputy general manager of International Trade Company ,attended the ceremony on behalf of the Group.
Firstly, the conference held the ceremony of Shandong preventive consular protection propaganda activities. Then Director Zhai made a special lecture  of consular protection.He preached the "Nine can, Nine not can" the principle of consular protection, emphasized the responsibility and obligation of overseas Chinese enterprises to safeguard the interests of employees, and reminded business leaders to do the risk prevention work. Director Zhai pointed out that, as more and more enterprises and citizens go abroad, all enterprises and citizens must strengthen the security awareness and ability to seek consular protection through legitimate channels. Ministry of Foreign Affairs will always adhere to the purpose of "People-oriented, Diplomacy for the people",and make full use of consular protection coordination mechanism platform, provide quality consular services and protection for foreign investment enterprises and citizens, safeguard the safety and interests of Chinese citizens and all Chinese funded enterprises.
