Inner Mongolia coal-to-glycol project to start construction in Mar
Northern China’s Inner Mongolia autonomous region planned to start construction on one coal-to-glycol project in Tumd Right Banner, Baotou city in March, sources reported.<br />

The project is designed to produce 600,000 tonnes glycol from coal each year and will be built by Shenhua Guoneng Energy Group Corp. in two phases. The first phase is expected to produce 400,000 tonnes of glycol per annum upon completion in November 2017.<br />

Around 8.89 billion yuan ($1.43 billion) would be invested into the entire project, including 4 billion yuan in the first phase. The project is expected to generate revenue up to 3.9 billion yuan when fully operational.
